North Country Chorus
North Country Chorus begins weekly rehearsals for its spring season on Tuesday, February 2 at 7:15 pm in the band room of the Morse Center for the Arts at St. Johnsbury Academy. Concerts will be held on April 29 and 30 and May 1 at locations in the North Country. The featured pieces this season will be Franz Schubert's Mass in G and Requiem for the Living by Dan Forrest. The North Country Chorus is a community chorus of about 80 members. Under the direction of Alan Rowe, it serves the Upper Connecticut River Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. The Chorus typically presents two series of concerts each year as well as three nights of Madrigal Dinner in January. Performances during the Christmas season and in the spring feature mostly classical works.
